What the hell happened at the VMAs last night? It definitely wasn’t a Nashville party.
As The Onion predicted in 2008, Miley Cyrus has been officially drained dry of entertainment value.
Last night, Miley Cyrus performed “We Can’t Stop” where she climbed out of a giant teddy bear and pranced around. Then Robin Thicke came out on stage and Miley stripped down to a nude colored bikini. Together they sang “Blurred Lines” (unfortunately, Emily Ratajkowski was not there).
Everyone watched in terror as Miley Cyrus pranced around. The consensus is, Miley Cyrus has gone too far. It’s not fun, it’s not sexy, it’s just sad.
But who am I to tell you how to feel about Miley Cyrus’s performance at the VMA’s?
You can watch for yourself right here:
The performance itself is pretty unpleasant to watch. Congratulations to anyone who made it further than a minute in.
Instead, let’s look at some GIFs from Miley Cyrus’s performance:
Last week, I said that Miley’s flubber mouth was sexy.
I’d like to retract that statement now.
Her tongue clearly has a mind of its own and it really diminishes her sex appeal. For me any way.
So what do you think? Has Miley Cyrus gone too far?
Maybe little bit. But outrageous performances are standard at the VMA’s. If there were no crazy performances to make news the next day, everyone would forget that MTV has Video Music Awards. Honestly, when was the last time a music video was played on MTV? 2007?
Is this the end of Miley Cyrus?
Probably not. Who knows what this girl’s going to get up to next.
My hope is that she’ll film a porn scene with Jessie Andrews. But that seems like a stretch.
