Pussies: To Groom or Not To Groom?

Sexy PantiesMaybe it’s just me, but for me I couldn’t care less about how a pussy looks. That’s because throughout my sexual career I’ve learned that touching a pussy is way sweeter than looking at them.

There’s always been a big debate to groom or not to groom. Ever since that episode of Sex and the City where Carrie goes to L.A. to get a wax, women have been brainwashed into thinking that a hairless pussy or a vajazzled pussy was the best way to impress their men.

Well that’s apparently not true.

So say goodbye to painful pussy waxing and diamond encrusted labias because hair is back in!

1,000 men were polled by a wax company called Nads on their pubic hair preferences. The most popular look? Trimmed and tidy. Not too much hair, not totally bald, just right.

43% of the men surveyed preferred women to look as natural as possible with no bikini hair overspill. Meaning trimmed and waxed edges. A “Bermuda Triangle” of pubic hair, if you will.

17% liked the Brazilian (aka Landing Strip) the best, 15% liked heart-shaped pubic hair (presumably because they didn’t take the survey seriously), and only 12% liked the Hollywood, which is when a woman’s pussy is completely bald.

But before you give up on waxing completely, it’s important to remember that pubic grooming is the reason crabs/pubic lice are going extinct. I’ve never had a bikini wax but I’d be willing to get one if only to ensure the extinction of crabs.

Also, a study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine surveyed 2,453 women over a five week period on their pubic hair grooming habits and their sexual activities. The women who shaved or waxed had a greater interest in sex, masturbated more, had more casual sex, and had more sex in general.

So most men prefer a little hair but women are more interested in sex when they shave or wax. What a pickle.

My advice is to do whatever you want with your pubic hair. It’s your pubic hair after all.

A woman shaving her pussy should be illegal. Shaving a blond pussy should be a capital crime. The hair is there for a reason and it’s part of her identity.

Our family visits a “family” nudist resort every summer. We’ve often met families with young girls who are dying to start getting their pubic hair. When it finally arrives, they’re so obviously proud they strut around showing everyone they’re not little girls anymore. It’s so cute. Then a few months later someone shames them into shaving it off. It just shouldn’t happen!

Girls… Please stop shaving it! Let it grow. Natural is by far the best for me but trimming a little is fine.

A fact you maybe forgot is, that shaving or waxing or whatever has another Pro: preventing parasite in the pubic hair.
I personally prefer the Hollywood so I belong to the 12%. But noone should care about that here.

Wild or trimmed is okay with me. I grew up sexually when very little trimming went on and no shaved or waxed pussies. I’ve actually never had sex with a woman who had a bald pussy.

However, there could be a downside to pubic hair removal. A doctor, and director of the health centre at Western University in Washington State, US, said she has seen the consequences. ‘Pubic hair removal naturally irritates and inflames the hair follicles, leaving microscopic open wounds. Frequent hair removal is necessary to stay smooth, causing regular irritation of the shaved or waxed area. When that is combined with the warm, moist environment of the genitals, it becomes a happy culture media for some of the nastiest bacterial pathogens.’…

In her practice it is not unusual to find patients with boils and abscesses on their genitals from shaving as well as cellulitis, an infection of the scrotum, labia or penis from shaving or from having sex with someone infected. Herpes is also an increased risk ‘due to the microscopic wounds being exposed to virus carried by mouth or genitals.’ ‘It follows that there may be vulnerability to the spread of other sexually transmitted diseases as well,’ she says.

Oh, and as to the crab-lice, I knew a girl who got them and before she realized it they were in her eyebrows. It’s not just pubic hair they will live in.

Oh, sorry. I misread that. Great blog by the way. ^^

It should be cleaned, shaved or wild but cleaned…

hmm I believe that pubic hair acts as a cushion why get rid of it? besides crabs… but maybe these crabs are somehow a good thing but it’ll never be known till they’re extinct there are many relatable species so I’m not concerned I prefer not to have them :-D

oh and BTW before you criticize me everything plays a role on earth positively and negatively!

    No judgement.

    Agreed. Hygiene first, grooming second.

    Two thoughts on this comment:

    1. Capital crime seems a little severe.

    2. Can we keep the references to “young girls” to a minimum? I’m not trying to get investigated here.

A well maintained ladies garden is welcome sight. Sometimes a dense forest or porcupine pussy like Lorena G is too sexy

…I’m going to criticize your comments (not you), because they seem a bit off.

Parasites aren’t generally a good thing for their host. There is no symbiosis between us and crab louse. The negative role of crabs is no good for us, therefore, we should (rationally) practice hygiene. Enter: germ theory of disease.

As to “everything plays a role,” check in with premature ejaculation sometime. My point is, biology can be slow to catch up with our behaviors, especially with things such as sex wherein “the ideal” changes so often and between cultures.
